Dora J. Youngs, daughter of Addison D. Lester Youngs and Addie Minerva Blood, was born on the 27th August 1888 in Norton, Kansas.[2]

Dora married William Albert (Burt) "Willie" Sheffield on the on the 1st Jun 1910 in Fairview, Major, Oklahoma.[3]

Children of Dora and Burt:

  1. Orville Eugene Sheffield 1911-1999
  2. Ray William Sheffield 1914-1966
  3. Arthur Merel "Artie, Art" Sheffield 1919-2001
  4. Wayne Albert Sheffield 1925-2015

Dora passed away on the 27th November 1972 in Nampa, Canyon, Idaho.[2]

Obituary

November 30, 1972
MERIDIAN--Services for Dora J. Sheffield, 84, Meridian Route 3, who died Monday at a Nampa nursing home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Robison Chapel of the Chimes, Meridian, by Elder Ray Benight, Nampa Church of God, Seventh Day. Interment will be at Meridian Cemetery.

Mrs. Sheffield was born Aug. 27, 1888 in Norton, Kan. She moved to Farnum, Neb. in 1916 and married William A. Sheffield June 1, 1910 in Fairview. They moved to Meridian in 1927 and he died in 1966. She was a member of the Nampa Church of God, Seventh Day.

Survivors are three sons, Wayne Sheffield of Meridian, Art Sheffield of Galt, Calif., and Orville Sheffield of Junction City Ore.; a brother, Arthur Young of Denver; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. A son preceded her in death.

Pallbearers will be Darrel Stikes, Herman Everett, Mark Burnham, Ralph Palmer, Fleet Cory and Ed. Miller.[5]
