Celedonio Zamarripa was born on 5 August 1908 in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico to Celedonio Zamarripa and Maria Rincon. He married Espectacion Perez; they had 3 known children. In 1935, he was working as a shoe repairman.[1] On 7 June 1944, he became a naturalized citizen on the United States.[2] Celedonio died on 24 March 1989 in San Antonio, Texas.[3][4] He is buried alongside his wife at San Fernando Cemetery #2 in San Antonio, Texas.[5]
