In 1930, she was living on a farm on Township Road, Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, with her parents, siblings, grandfather, and aunt.
She was a clerk at a flag factory.
Her brother Charles was a truck driver for a baking company, her sister Grace was a clerk at an accessory store, and her father was a salesman for a lumber company.

She married Charles Burgess Dorris.
They had two children.

In 1940, Charles and Alice were living at 1435 Astor Street, ward 6, Norristown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, with their daughter Grace.
Charles was a salesman for a coke manufacturing company.

On 25 October 1964, they published an announcement of their daughter's engagement.

On 29 August 2000, she died, in Lansdale, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
She was buried in Riverside Cemetery, Norristown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
