Biography
William Burkhart Zane was born in 1814 in Philadelphia to Jesse Zane and his second wife, Sarah Unknown.
He married Harriet Emily Adams (born England c1822) bet 1835-1839.
He married Christian Cetti after 1856.
William was a weigh master like his father, living and working together per an 1840 city directory; their business was "Jesse S. Zane & Son, Weigh Masters".
