"En la Hacienda de San Alberto, Durango, a las 8 (ocho) horas de la mañana del día 3 (tres) de noviembre de 1922 (mil novecientos veintidós), ante mí, Jesús de los Santos, Juez de Estado Civil de este lugar, el compareció el ciudadano Carlos Zapata, natural de Sacramento, Durango, vecino de Los Ángeles, Durango, de 38 (treinta y ocho) años de edad, casado de forma Cívica y Eclesiástica, jornalero, mestizo, y manifestó que en 3-1 /2 (tres y media) de la tarde, falleció de escarlatina la niña Rosa Zapata, natural de Sacramento, Durango: 6 (seis) años de edad, hija legítima del exponente de Doña Luciana Frausto, natural de Sacramento, Durango; 35 (treinta y cinco) años de edad, Mestiza con Blanca, y ciudadana para dar a luz a la 8 (octava) niña. Se presentaron como testigos del deceso los ciudadanos Ynive Silos e Hilario Silos, casados, vecinos de Los Ángeles, Durango: jornaleros y adultos, expresaron su conformidad de la niña fallecida cuya sepultura se verificó en el Panteón de Sacramento, Durango. La presente acta fue leída a los testigos, quienes expresaron su acuerdo, y no firmaron por no saber: Este es copia del original. Doy fe = (firma) Jesús de los Santos"[12]

"At the Hacienda de San Alberto, Durango, at 8 (eight) in the morning on November 3 (three), 1922 (nineteen hundred and twenty-two), before me, Jesús de los Santos, Civil Status Judge of this place, the citizen appeared Carlos Zapata, a native of Sacramento, Durango, resident of Los Angeles, Durango, 38 (thirty-eight) years of age, married in a Civic and Ecclesiastical manner, day laborer, mixed race, and stated that at 3-1/2 (three and a half) in the afternoon, the girl Rosa Zapata, a native of Sacramento, Durango, died of scarlet fever: 6 (six) years old, legitimate daughter of the exponent of Mrs. Luciana Frausto, a native of Sacramento, Durango; 35 (thirty-five) years of age, mixed race with white, and citizen to give birth to the 8 (eighth) girl. Citizens Ynive Silos and Hilario Silos, married, residents of Los Angeles, Durango, were presented as witnesses to the death: day laborers and adults, expressed their agreement of the deceased girl whose burial was verified in the Pantheon of Sacramento, Durango. The present record was read to the witnesses, who expressed their agreement, and did not sign because they did not know (to): This is a copy of the original.
