Robert was born in 1899. Sometimes nicknamed "Hubert". He was a minor. He was deported in a convoy in November 1944, first to the Neue Bremm camp, then to the Dachau camp. He died there on 3 January 1945 from pneumonia according to the German death certificate. He is inscribed on the monument to war victims in Faulquemont (Moselle, Lorraine, France) under the name of Zapp Hubert.
