Biography
Catherine Zapp was the daughter of Peter and Elizabeth (Mussler) Zapp. Catherine married William Stephan on November 17, 1868 in Jefferson County, Indiana. William and Catherine had 9 children, William F. Stephan, Albert E. Stephan, William Frederick "Will" Stephan, Richard Peter "Dick" Stephan, Margaret Dorothy "Maggie" (Stephan) Hutchinson, Alphonzo Stephan, John Franklin "Frank" Stephan, Herbert Stephan and Charles Edward Stephan.
