Martha Zeigler Lightsey is not buried in the Macedonia cemetery. Although history has given her this burial spot, certain records prove that Martha Z. Lightsey was buried at the Jessie Howell Burial grounds in another part of Echols County. The Jessie Howell Burial grounds was on the homeplace of Jessie Howell just south of Howell, GA and no longer exists.
