Caroline was born in 1829. She was the daughter of Nicholas Zeigler and Mildred Unknown.
In the will of her father Nicholas Zeigler she was bequeathed the following slaves:
Caroline married Thomas Hunt Hall on 28 Jul 1842 . Children of Caroline and Thomas:
In the 1850 census [2] Caroline is living in Mobile, Alabama with her husband Thomas, their children Eliza and Willis, along with 10 other family members, including an Amy Hall age 69, likely Thomas' mother. By the 1860 census [3] Caroline and Thomas are out of the Hall family household. They are living in Autaugaville, Autauga, Alabama with their three children, Eliza (age 14), Willis (age 10) and Edward (age 8).
Caroline passed away in 1885 and is buried by her husband Thomas in Hall Family Cemetery, Autauga County, Alabama.[4]
