According to the Journal/Diary of JOHANNE JOHN TOBLER, ANNA ZELLWEGER was the daughter of "Bartholowme," and she married JOHANNE in 1718.[1]
JOHANNE JOHN TOBLER immigrated to the Province of South Carolina in 1736/1737. JOHANNE and others settled in New Windsor, in what is now Beech Island section of South Carolina, only a few miles from Augusta, Georgia.
The Expansion of South Carolina, 1729-1765 documents JOHN and ANNA TOBLER had three sons, JOHN TOBLER, JR., WILLIAM TOBLER, and ULRIC TOBLER. They also had a daughter, ANNA TOBLER, who married JOHN JOACHIM ZUBLY in 1746 in Ebenezer, Georgia.[2] [Ebenezer was accross the Savannah River from New Windsor.]
On 16 Apr 1762, JOHN TOBLER the Elder and his wife, ANN, of New Windsor, Gentlemen sold to JOHN TOBLER the Younger a parcel of land containing 650 acres in the township of New Windsor in Granville County.[3]

When I adopted the profile, that was the place of birth listed. If you Google Bolzano, Trentino-Alto Adige it is in Italy. I will change it based on the fact the family was from Switzerland.
