Smith--Zimmerman
At noon, February 6, Miss Eva Nettie Zimmerman, daughter of Mrs. May Zimmerman, near Knoxville, became the bride of Maurice Emory Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Smith, of Lander, this county. The wedding ceremony was performed in the bride's home, by Rev. Robert L. Lang, of Jefferson. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Mary Katherine Zimmerman, as bridesmaid, and the groom was attended by his brother, Guy V. Smith, as best man. Mrs. Ernest Lipps played the wedding march from Lohengrin.
The bride was beautifully dressed in dark blue canton crepe and carried a bouquet of white carnations. The bridesmaid was dressed in brown canton crepe and carried pink carnations.
Immediately after the ceremony the wedding party proceeded to the dining room where a sumptuous wedding dinner was served. After the dinner the bride and groom left for Washington and other points. They will be at home at Knoxville after February 15.
