Biography
Blanche Zimmerman was the daughter of William George Zimmerman and Gertrude Roth and probably was born in Peru, Illinois. By 1940, Blanche had finished high school and was working as a foreman/foot press at Westclox. She married EUGENE STEPHAN HYBKI (June 1, 1919-Dec. 22, 2002) in St. Hyacinth’s Rectory in La Salle and resided at 1120 Pulaski Street in Peru, Ill. Members of St. Valentine’s Church in Peru, they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1995. After Eugene died in the Illinois Veteran’s Home in La Salle, Blanche moved to McHenry County where their daughter lived.
