William H. Zimmerman, 73, died last night at his home along Andreas R.D. 1 in Schuylkill County. He was ill two and a half years.
A native of South Manheim Township, he was a son of the late George K. and Katie Anna (Fichthorn) Zimmerman, was a veteran of World War I, a member of the Lehighton Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and of the United Church of Christ. He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are these brothers and sisters: Wesley, of Schuylkill Haven; John, Orwigsburg; Walter, Tamaqua R.D. 1; Mrs. Sarah Neidlinger, Schuylkill Haven; Mrs. Ida Noecker, Centerport, and Mrs. Lillie Reber, Mohrsville.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Harvey Hill residence at Snyders'. The Rev. John R. Gulick will officiate. Burial, with arrangements in charge of the Hill Funeral Home, Rehrersburg, will be made in Christ Union Cemetery, McKeansburg.
