MARRIED:
On Thursday, the 8th inst., by Rev. Asby Pool, Mr. SAILOR M. ZINN, of Preston co. to Miss MAHALA, daughter of Jabez Brown of Monongalia county.
It seems to have been a common trait among the Zinns to rearrange their name to suit their own preference. I grew up within a couple miles of Michael's farm and his father in laws homestead and I only heard him referred to as Michael Saylor Zinn although his military records seem to use Saylor Michael Zinn instead. I have a copy of a note prepared by his father listing his children and it gives the name as Michael Saylor Zinn so I'll go with that. DP
