A story passed on about the family. It seems that the Zubers were a fairly wealthy lot and the Burtons were not. The Zubers looked at the financal statements of William and did not seem impresses. In fact, they felt the Burtons were not suitable to marry any of their daughters!! Susan, went through with the marriage and left shortly afterwards for Missouri. When Nancy passed away, she was laid to rest in the Coalgate Cemetry, Coalgate, Oklahoma
