My closing message may be considered a little late, but I'm none-the-less grateful.
I wanted to take this time to thank you for your participation in the 2022 Connect-a-Thon.
It was a pleasure to work together to improve and expand the Wikitree.
And I wanted to especially thank those team members that posted in the G2G Chat page and connected to our Discord channel.
As a bonus: I learned some new techniques to take this challenge to the next level.
I hope you'll join us during the next challenge!
Sincerely,
Judi Stutz-25, Team Captain, Little Team On the Prairie
Hello Andrea, if you have no objection, I will be adding sources to Frederick Wampler, Wampler-666, and Anna Driver, Driver-421. You are the profile manager of both. I will be adding sources, along with an in-line biography, and adding a son, Joseph William Wampler. You have a good rest of the day. Rod
Hello Andrea, I finished Catherine Funk Driver's profile, Driver-428. I put a research note on the profile, it looks like her and David had about 12 children. Yes, I see she is a great aunt of yours. She is a 3rd cousin 4 generations removed to me. Also you are 1st cousins, 5 generations removed from David. Just as a side note, since Catherine was a Driver, I looked at the relationship to Phyllis Diller, the lady comedian, who was originally a Driver. Driver-1560. You are 3rd cousins 4 generations removed from her.
You and I are 7th cousins. You have a good rest of the day.
That's interesting about David Heatwole. WikiTree didn't show me any relationship with him, but I didn't dig very deeply. I've found a lot of ancestor connections in the Driver/Funk lines. A couple of them crossed over to my dad's side of the family as well. I don't have any primary sources for those families, unfortunately. Thanks for the message!
Good morning Andrea, hope all is well. I finished David Heatwole's update on his profile. (Heatwole-6) I wrote him a biography, and inserted source citations. If you have a Family Search account which I assume you do, (their accounts are no cost) you can view the citations. You have a good rest of the day, and I will be doing his wife's profile this afternoon.
