Biography

Magdalina Zug^[1][2] was born about 1729 in Warwick Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania,^[3] the fourth of nine known children and the youngest of three daughters of Ulrich Zug and Barbara Bachman.

On 12 June 1748, when she was about nineteen, she married Michael Frantz in Cocalico, Lancaster County.^[4] She bore him seven known children, six sons and one daughter:

3. Jacob Frantz
4. Michael Phemert Frantz
5. David Frantz
6. Anna Salome Frantz
7. Daniel Frantz.

In 1823, when she was about ninety-three, she died of unknown causes in Botetourt County, Virginia.^[5]
