Note NI00146At age 27, Pete bought his first car, drove to Detroit to visit his uncle Andrew Wicke and did some painting for him there. Pete made generous financial donations to the Wartburg church and donated labour. He and his brother, Clarence made possible new carpet, oak wainscotting, a coat of paint and some brickwork for the church.
