Martha, however, was not baptised until 27 May 1881in Saint Lukes Parish Church in Peckham, Camberwell, London, England, after her mother died.[2]

Her mother dies on 2 September 1880 at 245 St Georges Rd., her death is registered under the name of Martha Lee.[5]
