Caroline was born on 9 December and baptised on 25 December 1864 in Mhow, Bengal, India, the daughter of Andrew Munro (Qr Master Serjeant 21st Brigade R.A) and Isabella, residing in Mhow.[1]
Caroline married Moses Williamson on 16 December 1885 in the Church Of England, Moor Street, Fitzroy, Victoria, Australia.[2]
Caroline moved with her parents when at the age of 4 when they migrated to Australia on the Geelong R.M.S.S, after her father retired as a soldier from the East India Company. They arrived at the Port of Melbourne on 28 September 1869 after boarding at Point de Galle in India. Travelling on board with 19 other passengers of which there were 13 Adults including Mr Munro a Scotchman, with his wife, infant and 6 children.[3]
Caroline died at the age of 103 on 17 July 1968 in Como, New South Wales, Australia and is buried in the Anglican Monumental section AJ grave # 0659, in Woronora Cemetery and Crematorium Sutherland, New South Wales, Australia.[5]
