Willem Adriaan VAN JAARSVELD was born about 1726. He is the son of Arie van Jaarsveldt and Cornelia Nel. [1]

He was confirmed as member of the Dutch Reformed Church congregation of Swartland, Cape of Good Hope on 2 October 1754. [4]

He was still enumerated as Willem Adriaan van Jaarsveld de oude with his wife Elisabeth Jordaan in 1805 living with their son at De Vlakke Heuvel, Riebeek Kasteel, Drakenstein. [6]
