Biography

Anna Čečka was born in Záblatí in 1826 [1] She was the daughter of Josef Čečka and Anna Nekolová .They lived in Zablati for example here in 1839.[2]

She married Vojtech Šerý of Sevetin [3]They lived in Záblatí. They had children:

  • Marie (*1856 - She married Jan Jindra of Záblatí in 1877. They immigrated to the United States in 1880. They settled in Minnesota)
  • Anna (*1861 died 1861)
  • John (*1865 - He immigrated to the United States in 1880 and settled in Minnesota. He married Johanna Cihlar, later Mary Pecholt.)
  • Anna (*1868 - she immigrated to the United States in 1880 and settled in Minnesota. She married Albert Flicek)

She immigrated from Bohemia in 1880. Arrived in New York, New York 14 Jun 1880 From ship Habsburg[4]

She lived in Wheatland, Rice County, Minnesota Area.[5]

She second married 22 Oct 1888 at St, Wenceslaus church in New Prague to Frantisek Vavra.[6] Death information: Newspaper says 24 Jan 1905. 1905 dates also confimed in death card[7]

She died in 1906? Record is exactly one years later and all info correct.[8]Death date is confirmed as 24 Jan 1905 from Holy Redeemer Church, Montgomery, Minnesota.[9]
