Biography

Martin (later named Šimek) was born about 1624 (estimated) likely in ?Krašlovice.

He married widow Voršila (the daughter of Ondřej Šimek - rustic in Úsilné on Šimek's farm^[1]; her first husband was Matěj Růt-Šimek - they had several children) about 1642. They continued on Šimek's farm and they likely had no children.

His first wife Voršila Šimková died about 1644 and he married second time Magdalena (the daughter of deceased Šimon Strýček and his wife Anna - rustics in Lhotice on Strýček's farm^[2]) in 1644-6-22^[3]. They lived on Šimek's farm, for example in 1662^[4] or in 1674^[5], and they had children:

• Jiří (*1647 - he married Eva Holubová from Hosín in 1666, they lived in Úsilné on Prokeš's farm and later on Eliáš's farm and they had children: ..., Martin, ... ),
  
• Šimon (*1650 - he married Dorota Martinová from Zahájí in 1673, they lived on Hrubý's farm in Úsilné and they had children: Martin, ...),
  
• Řehoř (*1655 - he worked at prince's office in Vídeň),
  
• Matěj (*1657 - he married Alžběta, daughter of Vavřinec Tůma from Hůrky, about 1677 and they continued on Šimek's farm in Úsilné),
  
• Kateřina (*1660, +1670),
  
• Eva (*1665- she married first time widower Kryštof Chrt in 1684, they lived in Hosín on Chrt's farm, she married second time Matouš Tesař from Tuchonice, he took name Chrt, they continued in Hosín on Chrt's farm and they had children: ..., Kašpar, ...),
  
• Dorota (*1671 - she married Martin Řepa from Jivno about 1686, they lived in Jivno on Řepa's farm and they had children: ..., Marie, ...),

Their children Jiří and Šimon had first common descendant Martin Vávra (*1842). Their child Dorota had first common descendant with her brothers (Jiří and Šimon) Jan Janda (*1897).

He Martin Šimek (origin from Kraslovice) died about 1675^[6].
His second wife (widow Mandalena born Strýčková in Lhotice) died about 1702^[7].
