Need some help with this one...
Farnsworth-911 = Jeremiah Farnsworth, b. Mar 24 1700, d. Nov 25, 1731, married Sarah Gilson (might be Gibson - see marriage document) Jan 18, 1727 (he is from Groton, MA)
Gilson-953 = Sarah Gilson, b. May 1, 1700, d. abt 1779. parents are John Gilson and Sarah Blood, married Jeremiah Farnsworth on Jan 18, 1727
We know that Thomas Willard married Sarah Gibson/Gilson, the widow of Jeremiah Farnsworth on June 29, 1732. The Sarah that he married was born on Oct 27, 1708 and died in 1779. Her parents are Timothy Gibson and Rebecca Gates. This information is from several source materials.
Willard-5082 = Thomas Willard, b. Apr 2, 1713 in Lancaster, MA and died Aug 1799 in New Hampshire. Married the widow of Jeremiah Farnsworth, Sarah Gibson on Jun 29, 1732 in Lancaster.
Gibson-379 = Sarah Gibson, spouse of Thomas Willard. She was b. Oct 27, 1708 and died 1779 (Note: Died same year as the Gilson-953) and widow of a Jeremiah Farnsworth who died prior to 1932 (Note: is this possibly Farnsworth-911?)
I thought it might be possible that the 2 Sarah's are the same one and should be merged into Gibson-379, however, that still leaves the mystery of who is the Sarah Gilson who was born in 1700? There is a Sarah Gilson who married a Kemp in 1718, but that is a lengthy rabbit hole to dig through.
Does anyone know more about these Sarah's? I tried to find the death date for the Gilson born in 1700 and no luck.
Any help will be appreciated by Darlene and Jack and myself. Thanks very much!
