Stickers for non military service.

Question

I have put in a request for a sticker honouring service in HM Coastguard which is currently being discussed .

I also suggested that a sticker for US Coastguard might be welcomed.

This lead to me thinking about the various National Lifeboat Services, some of which are staffed by unpaid volunteers who give their lives whilst trying to save others.

Should we also request a set of stickers to commemorate this service?

We don't honor service by branch, but by war and/or veteran status. Do you have a profile that needs a sticker for the person's coast guard service? During wars, I don't know about UK, but in the US, the USCG is considered military service.

I have two for the coastguard service.  Why are we so fixated on war fighting to the exclusion of services that save lives?

Thanks for this.  It is good that one of the three is sorted.  Now we just need a consensus on whether other nations lifeboat services should also get recognition
