Should the father of Samuel Eborne be detached?

Question

Anderson did not feature Samuel Eborne, but mentioned him in a couple of other features, including that of Thomas Eaborne.  Whittemore reports Samuel may have immigrated by 1640, but without evidence.

Only Whittemore reports that "Thomas Eborne, of Salem, ... may have been the father of Samuel ..." and offers no evidence.  Anderson reports "Thomas may well have been Samuel's brother as father."

Question: should Thomas remain attached as father of Samuel in WikiTree?  Whittemore was a typical 19th C. author who associates them based on last name and place.  Anderson finds reason to find them related, but places them probably in the same generation, rather than father and son.

What shall we do?  Thank you in advance.

Yes as long as links are retained throughout bio. Looks like there are some daughters attached to Thomas that need exploring.  AND there is a probate doc discussed on Katherine's profile that really belongs on Hannah's profile.  That document also provides an estimated birth year for Thomas Eaborne.

Thank you, Jillaine. No problem.  I don't have enough time either (never enough time for all that needs doing).  I'm working on the "daughters'" profiles now.  The one for Katherine Aborne was easy.  The one for Hannah will be more challenging.  Anderson says we do not know her name (first or last), but others report her as Hannah Aborne, because Samuel called her his sister in a probate. 

So far, have been unable to find any such Hannah Aborne.  Have added notes to her profile - tracking Torrey.
