Siblings: Lee Lance Allbright tells us “Anna Marie, John C., John Jr., Anna Margaret, Benjamin, and Jacob were living in the home of John Allbright in Madison County, Georgia in 1809”.
In “Threads of Ancestors” under “Allbright - Fleming Family Information Contributed by Clara L. Knott, Many, La.: “My old family records give these as some of the brothers and sisters of John Allbright: William, Jacob, Charity, Keziah (Kizza), Katy b. 1781-1789. The oldest child of Rose Ann and John Allbright was Alexander Fleming Allbright b. 1812”. Benjamin isn’t mentioned; possibly because he had gone to Missouri with John Allbright Sr.
Shannon Dowdy Albright (The Albrights) Lists 10 children: Alexander, Anna Elizabeth, Catherine, Anna Barbara, Anna Mattelena, John Christian, John Jr., Anna Margaret, Benjamin, and Jacob (pp 35).
Claribel Albright McClain (Ancestry of Albright and Holt Families) Identifies nine children; six from the Brick Church baptismal records (1) Anna Elizabeth, (2) Catharine, (3) Anna Barbara, (4) Anna Mattellena, (5) Anna Margaret, (6) John Christian. She also states that the 1800 Census lists 5 girls and 4 boys. On page 212, McClain references “Threads of Ancestors” as evidence that John Albright Jr. Is John’s son. However she ignores the rest of the children listed as John Jr.’s siblings and uses the single L spelling, rather than the double LL as listed in the book. She also discusses Benjamin and Alexander based, not on “Threads” but the work of other researchers.
