Biography
On January 5, 1812, John Nicholas Amery was born in Ernestown Township. He is the son of David Amey and Catharine Snyder.
About 1845, he married Mary Keturah Demorest. She was born in Moscow.
Their children were David Leslie (c1845-1931), James Albert (1852-1930), Mary (c1854-), Nicholas (c1856-), and Abraham (c1858-).
In December 1877, Mary died in Camden East Township.
