She may be the daughter of Henry Anderson, but this would only be the case if she had a first husband named Ward. One such candidate husband did die c. 1732 Find A Grave: Memorial #162611969; however, their having been married (unless it was a divorce) would not work with the timeline if son John Bullock's birthdate of 1731 is correct (also noting several Bullock children with no birth date).

Of note, the FindAGrave memorial does not attribute all of Benjamin Ward's children to Ann: only a Benjamin Ward (1730-1787).

To be reviewed on possible husband Ward:

Also to be reconciled is that at present, two Anns are attributed as daughters on Henry Anderson's profile; however, they could be one and the same person. At least with the Ann (Anderson) Ward person, we have some leads that place her in Virginia to a high degree of certainty.

Other Benjamin Ward children (unknown mother):

  1. Henry Ward
  2. Mary Ward
  3. Roland / Rowland Ward

Just wanted to make this note that a) Henry Anderson might be this Ann's father; and, if so, that she was highly likely married to Benjamin Ward at the time of her father's will (in 1734, she is named as Henry's daughter, Ann Ward).

Lastly, some of the "sourcing" that is on FamilySearch up and down the line is specious, as it pertain to people living or born in England, whereas, the strong evidence is that these near generations lived and died in Virginia. Thus, some conflation with family of the same name and constellation could also account for issues that at least need to be examined and probably addressed.

Hold that thought... in Henry Anderson records, the evidence for a daughter Ann who m. a Bulloch is not compelling.

The evidence for a daughter Ann who married a Ward and an Edward Friend is slightly stronger; noting also that the Ann who seems proved as a daughter of Henry Anderson lived a short life: (ca. 1705-1736).

Anderson-34207 and Anderson-18023 appear to represent the same person because: Duplicate with same parents, spouse, children
