If my person notes are correct then it was Thomas Applegarth 1776-1850 and Ann Graham's 1778-1858, son Thomas Applegarth 1798-1854 who married 14 May 1818, Elizabeth Huscroft 1795-1853, ( dau. of Thomas Huscroft 1764-1863 and Elizabeth Scot 1767-1859,and grandaughter of William Huscroft b.abt1732 and Elizabeth Beetson b.abt.1742 )?? Will need to verify all of this sometime.Any help would be very much appreciated Jack Richardson, New Zealand email [email address removed]

There appears to be a mixup of families here and may need further investigation?

Some person notes I came across stated the following children born to marriage of Robert Wright Applegarth b1742 to Elizabeth Brownlees as 1. Robert Applegarth b.1768 = Jane Priestman, dau of Thomas Priestman and Jane Rumford .( Jacks notes would indicate that Jane Priestman in fact married Robert Applegarth ( son of Robert Applegarth b.1735 and Elizabeth Trotter, and this Robert Applegarth b.1735 was the son of George Applegarth b.1704 and Jane Todd ).A totally different family of Applegarth? 2. George Applegarth b.1771 3. Thomas Applegarth b.1776 = Ann Blacklin ( Jacks notes would indicate that Ann Blacklin actually married Thomas Applegarth, son of George Applegarth b.abt.1729 and Isabella Lambton b 28 Sept 1745.)Also that Thomas Applegarth b.1776 was married to a Ann Graham ?Will need to verify sometime. 4. David Applegarth b.1781.

Jacks notes would suggest otherwise ie children as being 1. George Applegarth b.1768= Mary Huscroft. 2. Thomas Applegarth b.1776 = Ann Graham 3. David Applegarth b.1780 4. Robert Applegarth b.1792.possibly Maryland,USA ?( father of Reuben T.Applegarth.?) It would appear that these families may heve been incorrectly crossed over and recorded as such ,however time will tell.
