John de Audley of Blore, was the son of William de Audley (de Aldithele) and his wife Clemence, daughter and co-heir of William de Blore of Blore and Grendon.[1] His birth date is unknown but his parents were married before 1227[1] and he might have been born about 1228.
John de Audley, married Petronella (surname unknown) and had two sons;
William de Audley of Blore;
Hugh de Audley, a clerk of Blore, who succeeded to Blore and Grendon after the deaths of his brother and nephew, and sold them in 1314 to Joan, the widow of John Le Strange, and afterwards wife of Sir Henry Brailsford.[1]
Petronilla de Audley. She married William de Wrottesley. In 1286, William Wrottesley was suing for land in Blore and Grendon which had obtained on his marriage to Petronilla.
John was still alive in 1265, but died before 1279 when his wife Petronella is cited as his widow.[1]

He may have been mentioned in a document dated 1262 (as a previous biography had fl 1262 (flourished 1262) but this was unsourced and not so far located.
