Roland James Balch was baptised at Evercreech, Somerset, on 26 Nov 1893. The 1939 England and Wales Register gives his birth date as 29 Oct 1893. Roland J Balch married Ruby I Pakeman, and the marriage was registered at Swindon, Wiltshire, in 1920. He died at about age 69, and his death was registered at Trowbridge, Wiltshire, in 1963.
