Biography
Walter was born 3 Oct 1893 in in Red Deer, Alberta. He lived there in 1901. [1] On 11 May 1915 he was living in Calgary when he enlisted in the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force. His next of kin was his mother, Mrs. J.E. Wright. [2] He received a certificate 12 Nov 1915 of qualification as a Lieutenant in the University of Alberta Contingent. [3]
Walter Murray Beatty died 31 Aug 1951 (aged 58) in Victoria, British Columbia and was buried in Royal Oak Burial Park Cemetery, Victoria, British Columbia. [4]
