In the 1900 census William (age 25) was the single brother of George I Branson in Allen Township, Worth, Missouri, United States.[1] Willie (age 25), son of David Braunson & Sarah Ellen Ridley, married Sopha E. Kohley (age 20y) on 1 June 1901 in Ringgold, Iowa, United States.[2] In the 1910 census William (age 33) was the married head of household in Hughes, Nodaway, Missouri, United States.[3] William died 5 Oct 1916 in Joplin, Missouri. Wiliam Henry Branson died Oct 5 1916 at Jane Chism Hospital, Joplin, Jasper Co, MO and was sent to Bentonville, Arkansas for burial. He was the son of David Branson born 1845 Worth County, Mo and died 12 Jun 1909 and Sarah Ellen Ward born 1862 and died before 1880 in Walnut Creek Township, Horton KS on the Ridley Farm. David was the son of Valentine Branson born 1785 Montgomery Co, VA died Aug 1855 Gentry Co, MO and his 2nd wife Sarah Smith born 1805 TN and died 1878 Worth Co. These are my 5th Great Grandparents.
