The georgette yoke was trimmed with embroidered leaves, and the long sleeves came to a point at the wrist. Her beautiful Brussels net veil (lent by her cousin, Mrs T. Davison) was held in place by a halo of orange blossoms. She also wore a gold brooch, the gift of the bride-groom. Her bouquet, consisting of white crochet bells and organdi arum lilies, was arranged by her sister, Mrs B. Warren, the crochet bells being made by Mrs A. C. Warren, Wondai.
Misses Jean Campbell, cousin of the bride, attended as chief bridesmaid, and was frocked in green floral satin beaute. Her frock was made with long-waisted effect, shirred bodice and sleeves, and she wore a green Dolly Varden hat, trimmed with pink flowers. Green mittens and silver shoes completed her toilette. A gold cross and chain (gift of the bridegroom) was also worn. Miss Joan Campbell also attended as a bridesmaid, and was frocked in pink floral satin beaut, made on similar lines to her sister's frock. She wore a pink Dolly Varden hat trimmed with green flowers, and also the bridegroom's gift, a gold cross and chain. Little Glenda Millard, niece of the bride, made a dainty flower girl. Frocked in blue taffeta trimmed with ruchings of satin on the bodice and hearts around the skirt, She carried a gold basket of flowers. She wore a blue frilled Dolly Varden bat tied with satin ribbons, and a gold brooch, the gift of the bride-groom. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr H. Millard, brother-in-law of the bride, and Mr W. Huston was groomsman. Miss R. Harris presided at the organ, and as the bridal party was signing the register, Miss V. Holmes rendered I'll Walk Beside You."
The reception was held at the Town Hall supper room, where the guests were received by the bride's mother, who wore a navy floral crepe de Chine frock with navy and white accessories. She was asisted by her daughter, Mrs B. Warren, who wore a dusty pink silk sparella frock, relieved with white rouleaux and beads, and white accessories. The three-tiered cake was made by Mrs S. Biddle and decorated by Miss T. Biddle. The bridal couple left next day for the North. The bride's travelling frock was mustard silk crepe with brown accessories.
