Research Notes

There are two 1880 census which reflect the family of Elizabeth. On the 9th of June, she appears to be enumerated on the record living with John Shruby, who may be her father, in Washington Township, Mercer County. The children listed as step-children match the names of Elizabeth's children and should have been enumerated as grandchildren. Elizabeth is then in a 1880 census dated 23-24 June living on her own with the same children in Plumsted Township, Ocean County.
