Biography
Walter V. was a Coal Mine Locomotive Brakeman.
Walter V. Cartwright was born on July 2, 1889 in McDowell, West Virginia, United States, son of Thomas Edward Cartwright (1863–1952) and Lou Emma Browning (1861–1953).[1]
He married Myrtle Rose Kelly in 1913, in McDowell, West Virginia, United States.[2]
They were the parents of at least 1 daughter:
- Ethel E Cartwright-1914–1990
He died on 11 March 1915, in Coopers, Mercer, West Virginia, United States, at the age of 25, from injuries from an accident,[3] and was buried in Leckie Cemetery, Leckie, McDowell, West Virginia, United States.[4]
