Death and burial in different counties isn't uncommon. FindAGrave is simply wrong about Enochville and St Enoch Lutheran Church being in Cabarrus County. Cemetery Inscription cards, North Carolina Death, and North Carolina Death and Burial records have them correctly in Rowan County. As does Wikipedia.

You made a change to the burial place for profile Luther Cadwell Overcash (1857-1914) Overcash-14. Your change was that he was buried in Enochville, Rowan, North Carolina. His death certificate states he died in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. Find a grave states he is buried in Saint Enoch Lutheran Church Cemetery, Kannapolis, Cabarrus County, North Carolina, USA. I have seen no document that states that he was buried in Rowan County. Where did you get the information? Please do not make a change unless you have the document to back it up. I appreciate your help, just back it up. Thank you.
