Biography

The daughter of William Clouse and Elizabeth (Laudermilke) Clouse, Annie was born in Washington County in 1810. She married Allen Tittle (1810-), marrying in Washington County on August 21, 1829.[1] Their children included:

  2. Jacob Tittle (1833-)
  3. Margaret Tittle (1834-)
  4. George W. Tittle (1837-)
  5. David M. Tittle (1838-1923)
  6. Anderson Tittle (1840-)
  7. Nancy Tittle (1841-1935)
  8. Elizabeth Tittle (1843-)
  9. Mary M. Tittle (1846-)
  10. Jonathan G. Tittle (1847-1929)
  11. William T. Tittle (1849-1925)
  12. Sarah Tittle (1852-)

They made their home in Washington County's 7th District.[2][3] She passed away there around the age of 50 and is buried at Garland Cemetery in Erwin, Tennessee, in Unicoi County.[4]
