It is not confirmed that the Jean Cochrane who died in 1797 was the daughter of John Cochrane and Anne Hunter. No age was available in the index on SoctlandsPeople. However, this was the only recorded death in the parish for this name between 1797 and 1855 and the father's name is correct.
