Biography

When Edward Willson Creecy was born in October 1847 in New Orleans, Louisiana, his father, James, was 57 and his mother, Henrietta, was 34. He married Ignatia Margaret Browne in 1878. They had three children in 10 years. He died on February 26, 1932, in Washington, District of Columbia, at the age of 84, and was buried in Arlington, Virginia.
