Peter was born in 1584 (aged 6 when his father died in 1590, aged 68 when he died in 1652.[1]).
Peter was the son and heir of Peter Daniell of Over Tabley, esquire, and his wife, Anne Manwaring.[1] His father was the son and heir of Thomas Daniell of Over Tabley, esquire, and his wife, Alice Dutton.[1] His mother was the daughter of Henry Manwaring of Carincham, Cheshire, esquire.[1]
Mary Daniell, who was married to1) John Woodnot of Shenton, Cheshire, and 2) John King of Salmondley, Lincolnshire;[1]
Jane Daniell, died without having children;
When Peter's 29 year-old father died, on 3 August, 1590 [32 Elizabeth], his mother was granted ward-ship of their son.[1] Peter's widowed mother, Anne, married Thomas Ashold, parson of Swetenham, Cheshire.[1]
Peter married Christian, daughter of Richard Grosvenour of Eaton-boat, Cheshire, esquire.[1]

Peter Daniell of Over Tabley, oldest son and heir, Captain of an infantry company in the regiment of John earl Rivers raised to fight for the king during the English Civil War, was shot at the siege of Gloucester in 1643, and died at Oxford predeceasing his father; he married Sarah, daughter of Richard Wilcocks of London;[1]
Henry Daniell, second son, married Anne, daughter of sir John Dorell of Westwoody, Berkshire, they had no children;[1]
John Daniell, third son, apprentice in London, married but died without having children;[1]
William Daniell, fourth son, married Dorothy Forth of Wigan, Lancashire;[1]
Thomas Daniell, fifth son, killed at the battle of Brainford, near London, in 1642;[1]
Margaret, oldest daughter, married Richard Green of Congleton, Cheshire, gentleman;[1]
Christian, second daughter, married George Davenport of Calveley, esquire;[1]
Mary, third daughter, married Colonel Finch, 1651, an officer for the Parliament-party, and were both living in Ireland in 1666;[1]
Peter died on 18 April, 1652, aged 68 years, and was buried at Great Budworth, Cheshire.[1] He was survived by his wife, Christian, who died in 1663.[1]
