DEATH NOTICE. EDWARDS.—On October 12th, 1926, at Beverley Hospital, John Edwards, of Bellbeling, East Beverley, age 71 years (who came to this State with his parents about 68 years ago) leaving many to mourn their loss. He is gone but not forgotten, / Never shall his memory fade, / Dearest thoughts will ever linger / On the spot where he is laid.

OBITUARY. MR. JOHN EDWARDS. Another of the old identities of the Beverley district died during the past week in the person of Mr. John Edwards, of "Bellbeling," East Beverley. Mr. Edwards was born in Wales 71 years ago, and came to W.A. as a 3-year-old infant, with his father (who was in charge of a convict ship and was afterwards stationed at Beverley, Later going on the land). The deceased was for many years engaged on sandalwood and clearing contracts and when about 25 or 30 took up land. He was a very quiet and unobtrusive gentleman — "as honest as the day." For the last 5 or 6 years he has been practically an invalid and last Tuesday (12th) he passed away at the Beverley Hospital. The funeral which took place yesterday morning was largely attended. Deceased leaves three daughter and one son, besides many other relatives and friends to mourn their loss.
