Catherine (Edwards) Porterfield has Irish ancestors.

Catherine (Edwards) Porterfield migrated from Ireland to United States.

Catherine was born about 1806 in Ireland. She and husband John Porterfield moved to America around 1835. About 1842 they moved to Caledon in the County of Peel in Ontario where they lived the rest of their lives.^[1][2][3] She passed away in 1883.^[4]

John and Catherine were parents to nine children:
