Biography
Anne, known as Nancy was born in 1805. She was the daughter of John Elliott and Fannie Blain.
She is said to have arrived in America in 1816.
On 7 May 1823, Nancy married Liman/Lyman Shafer/Shaffer in Coshocton. [1]
Lyman was a Tanner and a Farmer.
A child John was born shortly before her death.
Nancy Elliott Shafer passed away just three months later aged 20 .
Lyman later remarried to Margaret nee Boyd.
