François Xavier Faucher est né et baptisé le 15 octobre 1830 à Neuville (St-François-de-Sales), fils de Joseph Faucher et de Julie Matte.[1]

François Châteauvert, fils majeur de Joseph Châteauvert et de Marie Julie Matte, épouse Thècle Béland, fille majeure de Louis Béland et de feue Marie Anne Cantin, le 14 février 1854 à St-Raymond.[3]

Jusqu'en 1861 ils ont 6 enfants nés du mariage, dont 3 décédés en bas âge, ils eurent d'autres enfants par la suite (non-indexés encore), 6 de leurs enfants sont connus pour se marier.[2]
