Ann L. Elliott, 74, of 812 Glendale Road, Marietta, died at 1:10 p.m. Saturday (July 1, 2006) at her residence.

She was born May 6, 1932, in Marietta to Floyd A. and Minnie Goodwin Fulmer. She was a school teacher in Marietta City Schools. She was a member of Washington County Retired Teachers Association, Ohio State Retired Teachers Association, Ohio State Retired Teachers Association, and the Sixth and Washington Streets Church of Christ.

She is survived by one son, Stephen A. Elliott (Lorrie) of Lowell; five grandchildren, Justin F. Elliott of Marietta, Stevi J. Elliott (Rusty) of Whipple, and Jennifer A. Burns (Roger), Kevin Marshall Burns and Anna Gale Burns, all of Belpre; one sister, Barbara Casto of Marietta; and two great-grandchildren, Daniel Rodney Newberry and Briana Leigh Heslop.

She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd A. Fulmer, on Feb. 10, 1985; her mother, Minnie K. Fulmer, on Sept. 17, 2001; her husband, Andrew Y. Elliott, on Oct. 31, 1995; and one daughter, Kathryn Ann Burns.

Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday (July 5, 2006) at the Sixth and Washington Streets Church of Christ in Marietta with Roger A. Rush officiating. Burial is in East Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday (July 4, 2006) at Hadley Funeral Home, Reno Chapel, at 1021 Pike St.
