Biography
Bertha Fulmer was born on Monday, June 20, 1887, in Easton, Northampton, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Gibson Fulmer and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Derringer. She was baptized at St Mark's United Church of Christ in Easton, Northampton, Pennsylvania, on June 6, 1893.[1]
In 1900 and 1910, she was living with her parents and siblings in Easton, Northampton, Pennsylvania.[2][3]
Bertha married William Recker around 1916. They had one daughter - Helen.
In 1920, William and Bertha lived with their daughter in Easton, Northampton, Pennsylvania, where William worked as an electrician.[4] In 1930 and 1940, the family was in Wilson, Northampton, Pennsylvania, where William was a foreman in the electric works in 1930 and ran his own electrical shop in 1940.[5][6] In 1950, the couple lived in Bethlehem, Northampton, Pennsylvania, and William was a farmer.[7]
Bertha died in Wilson, Northampton, Pennsylvania, on March 19, 1968, at the age of 80.[8][9][10] She was buried at Northampton Memorial Shrine in Palmer, Northampton, Pennsylvania.[11]
