Hi Cara, there are 11 person profiles on the high level Category:Scioto County, Ohio, Cemeteries. Please remove the Category:Scioto County, Ohio, Cemeteries category from those as person profiles go in the Cemetery categories not the high level Cemeteries categories. Thanks.
I went ahead and removed the photo attached to the profile for Olive (Van Bibber) Boone (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Van_Bibber-5) for which you are profile manager. As I wrote in a previous comment, the photo cannot possibly depict Olive Van Bibber or Nathan Boone for the reasons that I gave in my previous comment.
Let me know if you have questions or comments re: this action.
Last year I noticed that the profile for Olive (Van Bibber) Boone featured a photograph that purportedly was of Olive and her husband, Nathan Boone, along with several children. Since photography was not even invented until late 1830s and not commercially available until later, I do not think that the photograph could possibly be of them. By 1840, Olive would have been 57 years old and the woman in the photograph is much younger. I sent a comment to the person who uploaded the photograph suggesting that perhaps the photograph depicted a different Olive Van Bibber (there are several who could qualify). I never received a reply and think perhaps the contributor is no longer active.
I suggest that you remove this photo from the profile, or perhaps ask the G2G Forum for suggestions on how to find the person actually depicted.
Stanley
P.S. I am descended from Sophronia (Van Bibber) Dixon, Olive's sister.
Ah! That's why the PGM sticker is easier... It's its own sticker. The one to indicate a Magna Carta connection is the Descendant sticker, tailored for the project, so there are more variables/parameters (image & image text). The only variable you need to worry about is what follows |id=
And you need to keep in mind that the Descendant sticker automatically adds "Descendant of" before whatever is added using |id=
Does that help?
So... Copy/paste the following
{{Descendant|image=Magna Carta Team Base Camp.png|imagetext=Magna Carta Project logo|id=
then add text to complete "Descendant of" statement & close with double braces.
maybe because there are too many options? I climbed around your tree a bit and didn't find any Richardson-documented Gateway Ancestors (they're the focus of the Magna Carta Project's work). So perhaps the generic
{Descendant|image=Magna Carta Team Base Camp.png|imagetext=Magna Carta Project logo|id=a Magna Carta Surety Baron (possibly-research underway)}}
or
{Descendant|image=Magna Carta Team Base Camp.png|imagetext=Magna Carta Project logo|id=several Magna Carta Surety Barons}}
sorry... I tend to over-explain & then realize its too much and re-do it with too little explanation. let me know if you need specifics on something or if you have suggestions for improving the instructions about the descendant stickers here: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Magna_Carta_Stickers#sticker
Hi! The {Magna Carta}} template is for profiles managed by the project. You'll want either a descendant sticker or, if your intent was to join the project as an Affiliate, {Magna Carta Project Affiliate}}
Either way, could you remove the {Magna Carta}} template from your profile?
Also, you can put a sticker on your profile You can do so by adding the words Integrators Challenge with the {{ }} in front and back, in your biography.
Thank you and Good Luck!! Dorothy ~ Integrators Project Coordinator
There is no US connection that I know of with my John Morgan (b.1801) to WV. While researching in Wales I found it is a common name and thus without having more time to visit parishes - there have been no further leads. Perhaps dna will be able to connect more lines further back. I have written an extensive book on the descendants of John Morgan and Mary Shaw. Thanks
Susannah being married to a Ransome may work. My eighth great uncle Robert Dudley (1647-1701) married Elizabeth Ransome (1669-1718). Robert is the brother of Ambrose Dudley (1649-1715) my 7th great grandfather.
Hi Cara, I'm sure of family to Thomas Carter & Susannah Dudley. If Susannah's father is the George Dudley who married first Dorothy Tabb then Susannah Henderson, (Susannah Carter's mother), then we tie in to some famous people. 1. Gen. Robert E. Lee (1807-1870)(my 4th cousin 5x removed) through Judith Armistead-Dudley (1694-1770) (George's mother). 2. Robert King Carter (husband of my 8th gr. aunt Judith Armistead-Carter (1665-1699). 3. Pres Zachary Taylor (1784-1850) (my 2nd cousin 7x removed) through Judith Armistead Dudley. 4. Pres. John Tyler (1790-1862) (my 5th cousin 5x removed) through Judith Armistead-Dudley. 5. Also Pres. William Henry Harrison (1773-1841) and his grandson Pres. Benjamin Harrison (1833-1901) through the Armistead family. All of this is based on a big IF.
