The baptism date is 1603 in the Julian calendar (old style) when the new year started on March 25 (I think). You can see in the book the sequence of the months, and the year switches from 1603 to 1604 in March rather than January. For data fields, we use the new style (gregorian) year 1604, and then enter 1603/4 in the bio.

The England Project has an extensive explanation you can read about here: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:England_Calendar_Changes_1752
